WorkWell Wyandotte is a county-wide initiative based on the idea that what is good for employee health is good for business. Comprehensive wellness strategies in the workplace have been shown to reduce costs, absenteeism, and presenteeism as well as increase morale and productivity.
The WorkWell approach focuses on making the healthy behavior the easy behavior by addressing wellness from multiple angles. Different workplaces face different health and business challenges, so WorkWell helps organizations in Wyandotte County tailor strategies to their particular worksites’ needs.
Participating businesses have access to workshops and ongoing technical assistance to help them develop and implement evidence-based wellness plans. WorkWell is a grant funded initiative, so these resources are completely free for participating businesses.
